MONTI8 is a contemporary art gallery founded in June 2020 by Lea and Matteo Di Marco. Its program is focused on the discovery and promotion of emerging and up and coming international artists coming from different areas, especially the United States and Europe. Some of the artists who work/worked with the gallery are: Diane Dal-Pra, Vojtech Kovarik, Tom Anholt, Pacifico Silano, Veronica Fernandez, Radu Oreian, J Carino, Tahnee Lonsdale, Asif Hoque, Owen Rival and many others.
Through group shows, solo shows and fairs (like Miart, Artissima, Artfiera, Mega Art Fair) the aim of the gallery is to support the young generations of artists – especially painters – hosting their Italian or even European debut exhibitions. This approach gives the artists the chance to explore different themes in their work and to create new interactions with the viewers. In October 2024 MONTI8 opened a project room in Rome in the San Lorenzo galleries district. In December the gallery moved permanently to Rome with a new space in the same area, very close to the Pastificio Cerere and other galleries and artists studios.
