Lorenzo Conforti

Lorenzo Conforti (Tolentino, 1996) studied at the three-year program of the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino before completing his specialized studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. He lives and works in Milan.

During his time at the Academy of Fine Arts in Urbino, he co-founded the collective Hardchitepture (2019-2024), which explores environmental and scenographic installation. He later completed his specialized studies at the Academy of Fine Arts in Milan.

He has participated in group exhibitions in galleries and independent spaces such as Otto Gallery in Bologna, Lusvardi Gallery in Milan, Palazzo Bronzo in Genoa, Spazio Adiacenze in Bologna, Studiohomeawareness in Milan, and the Centro Arti Visive Pescheria in Pesaro. He has also taken part in the Francesco Fabbri Prize, as well as various artistic festivals and research residencies, including Dolomiti Contemporanee, Uva Residency, and Traffic Festival.

His practice has been featured in an article in The Collector magazine’s art section, and he has been interviewed for paintpaintpaint by Small Magazine and Panorama by Quadriennale.

Recent solo exhibitions include Le infinite distese interiori, curated by Valeria Schafer with text by Matteo Scabeni, at Shazar Gallery, La Stanza Project Room, Milan (November 2024).
